Equipment Operators - 2nd Shift

EQUIPMENT OPERATORS 2ND SHIFT

• HOOPESTON, IL Levels = I, II, and III are available Hourly pay rate
• I = $19.35 - $19.70, II = $21.25 - $21.60, and III = $25.20 -$25.55 Training: 12-hour training shifts run Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 7 pm and 7 pm to 7 am until the 8-hour shift is implemented, at which time the 8-hour shifts you listed will apply.

OVERVIEW

As a Manufacturing Equipment Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations by safely and efficiently operating various equipment and machinery. This position is ideal for individuals seeking to start a career in manufacturing and gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic production environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Operate designated machinery and equipment within the manufacturing plant according to standard operating procedures. Set up equipment, make adjustments, and perform minor maintenance tasks as needed. Monitor equipment during operation to ensure proper functioning and quality output. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

Conduct visual inspections of equipment to identify potential issues or defects. Assist with loading and unloading materials onto machines. Meet production quotas and quality standards consistently. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes. Maintain a clean, organized work area.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

High school diploma or equivalent. Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment operations. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and quality. Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects when necessary. Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

Commitment to safety practices and procedures. Proficient in basic math and measurement concepts. Good communication skills. Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently after training. Capability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Adaptability to changing work demands and priorities.
