Patient Services Representative

Our practices provide comprehensive dental care across a wide range of specialties, with a focus on creating an excellent experience for both our patients and our team members.

We are currently seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Patient Services Representative to join our Edison Park office. As one of the first points of contact for our patients, the PSR plays an important role in creating a welcoming experience while helping keep the office organized and running efficiently.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions and appointment needs Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently Collect patient payments, copays, and outstanding balances Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information Assist with insurance eligibility and benefit verification Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Monitor the schedule and communicate changes or concerns to the appropriate team members Help fill openings and maintain a productive patient schedule Communicate effectively with doctors, hygienists, dental assistants, and other front-office team members Respond to patient questions and concerns professionally and courteously Follow established office policies and procedures Assist with other administrative and front-office responsibilities as needed Requirements Previous dental or medical front-office experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Professional and friendly phone etiquette Comfortable handling payments and discussing patient account balances Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy office environment Comfortable working with computers, scheduling systems, and electronic patient records Experience with Dentrix is a plus Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
