Job description
Senior Accountant As the Senior Accountant , you will report directly to the Accounting Manager and be responsible for all accounting activities and financial reporting to support operations and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Responsibilities
Prepare Financial reports and maintain the general ledger Financial Review of assigned facilities Reconcile all assigned bank accounts Report variances and corrections as needed Assist with audit preparations and prepare documentation for internal and external auditors. Perform account reconciliations for assigned accounts Intercompany transactions.
Fixed Asset analysis as needed. Recommend ways for process improvement. Cross-train within the team to learn or teach processes and improvements. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting The qualified candidate would be a self-starter, team player and possess an Accounting / Finance background.
5-10 years of experience in a Healthcare setting (Preferred) Strong analytical ability, good judgment, strategic and multidimensional thinker Strong attention to detail and organized with the ability to meet strict deadlines. Demonstrate professional behavior, punctual, dependable, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.
