Senior Manager - SEO

About the role

Ethinos Digital Marketing Agency is seeking an experienced and results-driven SEO and ASO Sr Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing comprehensive SEO and ASO strategies for our clients. You will work closely with the SEO and ASO teams to drive organic growth, increase search visibility, and optimize mobile app performance.

Location: Andheri East, Mumbai Work Mode: WFO | Monday to Friday Roles & Responsibilities Lead and develop SEO & ASO strategies aligned with client objectives and business goals.

Own SEO strategy and performance across multiple client accounts, driving organic visibility, traffic, and conversions. Lead Technical SEO, On-Page, Off-Page, Content SEO, AEO and GEO initiatives. Conduct technical audits covering crawling, indexing, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema, redirects, and other technical issues.

Oversee keyword research, competitor analysis, content optimization, and link-building strategies. Drive AEO/GEO strategies to improve brand visibility across AI-powered search and answer engines. Manage and mentor the SEO & ASO team, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and continuous development. Act as a senior point of contact for clients, leading strategy discussions, performance reviews, presentations, and escalations.

Identify opportunities for account growth and contribute to client pitches, proposals, and new business presentations. Collaborate with content, development, design, paid media, and other teams to deliver integrated digital solutions. Monitor performance through GA4, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and relevant ASO tools, providing actionable insights.

Stay updated with search algorithms, AI search developments, app store updates, and emerging industry trends.

Required Skills

5–6 years of experience in SEO/ASO, preferably in a digital marketing agency. Strong expertise in Technical SEO, On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Content SEO, AEO, and GEO. Strong understanding of crawling, indexing, rendering, schema, Core Web Vitals, site architecture, and structured data. Hands-on experience with GA4, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and relevant ASO tools.

Proven experience in team management, client coordination, strategy presentations, and stakeholder management. Experience in client pitching, proposal development, and new business presentations. Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and teams in a fast-paced agency environment.

Strong understanding of SEO/ASO trends, Google algorithm updates, AI search, and evolving search behaviour.
