Ramapo Indian Hills Regional H.S. District Job Posting Home Instructors Application Deadline: Open Until Filled Reports to: Director of Special Education or designee Description: The district is seeking experienced teachers to serve as Home Instructors for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates must be available to work during the school day and will serve on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, proficiency-based lessons using communicative and immersive teaching methods Develop and implement modified lessons that builds skills in interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational communication; incorporate authentic materials, technology, and real-world applications into instruction Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of the learner, including using a variety of formative and summative assessments aligned with proficiency guidelines Create a positive learning environment that encourages learning and critical thinking Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Valid NJDOE teaching certification/license or eligibility to obtain Experience at the high school level preferred Strong content knowledge and passion for teaching Excellent communication skills **Retired teachers encouraged to apply.

Compensation
