Talent Specialist
Job description

Talent Acquisition and HR Coordinator The Talent Specialist is responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle by leading hourly recruiting efforts, coordinating onboarding activities, and providing day-to-day human resources support.
The Talent Specialist serves as a key resource for employees and managers by administering HR processes, maintaining employee records, supporting payroll and driving employee engagement initiatives. The Talent Specialist partners with leadership, staffing agencies, and community organizations to attract, retain, and develop talent while ensuring a positive employee experience and compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
Essential Job Functions: Lead recruiting efforts for hourly and skilled positions, including sewing operators and other plant employees. Build and maintain relationships with temporary staffing agencies and community partners. Attend job fairs and community events to promote employment opportunities and strengthen the employer brand.
Manage candidate pipelines, interview scheduling, and internal promotion processes. Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation programs. Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS transactions, including hires, transfers, leaves, and terminations. Support payroll processing, timekeeping review, and employee inquiries regarding pay.
Process payroll for temporary associates. Assist with leave management, including FMLA, STD, and ADA requests. Coordinate employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and company events. Create and distribute employee communications and promotional materials for surveys, events, training, and company initiatives.
Maintain digital displays with employee recognition, birthdays, anniversaries, company news, and upcoming events. Help facilitate employee engagement surveys and support action planning initiatives. Coordinate leadership, professional development, and skills training programs. Support the annual performance review process, goal-setting initiatives, and employee development planning.
Analyze learning and development metrics and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement. Support compliance initiatives, training programs, recordkeeping, and HR audits. Non-Essential Job Functions: Other duties as assigned. Training: Provided on the job and supplemented with external seminars/classes.

Education
