Vice President - Technology

The opportunity As a Vice President at Proxima in our IT and Technology practice, you will provide executive leadership across clients, teams, and the firm. This role blends deep domain expertise, client delivery, business development, and thought leadership. You will lead high‑risk, high‑growth client programs, shape long‑term client strategy, and play a key role in Proxima’s continued growth and market positioning.

What you bring Executive experience Extensive consulting and leadership experience 10+ years of experience in global IT procurement Deep subject matter expert in enterprise software, IT services, and/or cloud hosting Experience with spend profiles over $50M annual Proven ability to influence C‑suite and senior stakeholders Strong commercial, financial, and strategic acumen Leadership presence Executive gravitas and credibility Ability to inspire confidence, challenge constructively, and drive change Strong emotional intelligence and people leadership Growth mindset Track record of growing teams, clients, and capabilities Comfort balancing strategy and execution Long‑term perspective on value creation
