Senior Game Technician

At Star Lanes Polaris, we're looking for a hands-on Senior Game and Redemption Technician who brings the technical experience to troubleshoot and repair arcade games while helping oversee a game room guests can't wait to come back to.

This is more than keeping an eye on the arcade floor. You'll take ownership of the functionality and upkeep of our games while supporting the day-to-day operation of the arcade and redemption areas. If you have experience working directly with arcade equipment, enjoy solving technical problems, and aren't afraid to jump in when something needs attention, we'd like to hear from you.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $55,000-$65,000 annual salary range (Base + Monthly Bonus) Please note: Starting salary is based on relevant experience , skills, and qualifications

A Day in the Life:

• Maintain the functionality of arcade games and troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the arcade and redemption areas

• Work with technicians and vendors to quickly address equipment issues

• Manage redemption inventory, including prize ordering, receiving, merchandising, and organization

• Monitor arcade sales, game performance, prize costs, and other department metrics

• Recommend new games, prize offerings, promotions, and merchandising strategies

• Lead, coach, train, and motivate arcade team members

• Assist with scheduling, staffing, training, and labor management

• Handle guest questions and concerns and provide excellent service recovery

• Jump in and help wherever needed ! We're an entertainment business, and no two days are exactly alike

Who We're Looking For:

Our ideal candidate is someone who understands that a great arcade experience starts with games that work. You're mechanically and technically inclined, comfortable troubleshooting equipment, and able to work through a problem to identify what's wrong and get it resolved.

Beyond the technical side, you're a strong communicator who can work well with others, help guide and support a team, stay organized, manage inventory, and take ownership when something needs attention. You don't wait for problems to become bigger problems , you see what needs to be done and take the initiative to get it moving.

We're Looking for Someone who has :

• Prior hands-on experience working with and repairing arcade/game machines

• Experience with redemption inventory, prize ordering, and inventory management

• Previous leadership or management experience

• Experience in entertainment, hospitality, bowling, arcades, family entertainment centers, or a similar environment

What Success Looks Like:

Success in this role means a great guest experience supported by a well-run arcade and redemption operation. You'll know you're making an impact when the games are operational, the arcade is clean and inviting, the redemption area is organized and well stocked, inventory is accurate , and problems are addressed before they become bigger issues.

You'll also play an important role in supporting the arcade team, identifying ways to improve game performance, increasing guest engagement, and helping the department continue to grow alongside Star Lanes Polaris.

Schedule Expectations:

This is a full-time position , with management responsibilities . Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes peak business periods. This includes:

• Evenings

• Weekends

• Some holidays

• S pecial events
