We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team. Position: Grader Operato r We are seeking for an experienced Grader Operator to join our team in Mashonaland West (Zimbabwe).
Operational Responsibilities Operate graders safely and efficiently to maintain and shape haul roads, ramps, pit floors, dumps, and working areas within the mining operation. Maintain correct road profiles, cross-falls, and cambers to ensure safe and efficient movement of heavy mining equipment. Conduct daily pre-start inspections and promptly report any mechanical faults or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
Work in close coordination with dozer, excavator, and dumper operators to support production efficiency and minimize equipment delays. Follow pit design, grade control plans, and supervisor instructions to achieve required operating standards. Keep the grader clean, organized, and in proper working condition through regular housekeeping, fueling, and basic maintenance checks.
Safety Responsibilities Attend daily pre-start meetings . Perform visual safety checks before operating machinery and promptly report defects or mechanical issues . Operate the machine only within authorized areas and according to established safety zones . Comply with EPSA’s safety policies , procedures , and operational guidelines .
Immediately report any unsafe conditions , near -miss incidents , or accidents to your supervisor . Environmental Responsibilities Comply with EPSA’s environmental policies and practices . Ensure operations are conducted with minimal environmental impact .
Qualifications
Secondary education certificate or equivalent . Valid heavy equipment operating license. Training in mine safety procedures . At least 5 years ’ experience working in remote or international locations with similar equipment . Ability to read and interpret operational instructions . Pre- Employment Requirements Reference ch e cks wi l l be con ducted .
