Rehabilitation Specialist - Transitional Age Youth
Job description
Located in the City of Frederick, The Transitional Age Youth (TAY) Program is an innovative, time-limited 8-bed residential and psychiatric rehabilitation program that is specifically tailored to meet the special needs of young adults between the ages of 18-23. This unique program transforms the lives of its young residents by providing a structured home-like environment in which young adults are supported in developing daily living skills as they successfully transition to adulthood and life in the community.
The program engages young adults in meaningful and productive activities, such as school, volunteer work and/or paid employment, as well as other goal-oriented activities that promote independent living and healthy life choices.
