Utilization Review RN (FT, Days)

The Utilization Review RN works to perform the data collection and utilization review activities as outlined below. This UR RN has a high level of responsibility for major sources of hospital income resulting from appropriate and/or inappropriate utilization of patient services. The purpose of this position is to promote the advancement of coordinated, cost-effective, quality patient care and services within an acute care hospital.

This position will also assist in providing oversight and direction of the care coordination functions to include social work and swing bed coordination. This UR RN is expected to collaborate with all leaders within the organization to promote evidence-based practice and standards of care across nursing units.
