He enjoys meeting new people, participating in fun, interactive activities and getting out into the community more often. The ideal candidate is creative and engaging, active and patient, and willing to travel to different locations in the community. The ideal candidate must be open to helping him explore new activities and interests, as well as helping him feel more comfortable learning new independent skills. This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services. at the agency. Hours and days of work: Start time would be after 4pm, unless weekends. Days are flexible based on DSP availability. Starting pay: Starting pay is $19.25/hour and increases with years of relevant experience. Location: Cazenovia, NY Qualifications: Must have a valid driver's license Must be at least 18 years old Effective communication and organizational skills required. Flexibility with assignments and schedule required. Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time. Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred. Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
