Restaurant Kitchen Manager

As a Kitchen Manager , you’ll play a key role in the success of our restaurant by leading kitchen operations, developing your team, and ensuring consistent food quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead by example to deliver exceptional guest service and maintain high standards of professionalism. Hire, train, schedule, coach, and lead kitchen staff to support efficient daily operations. Ensure consistent food quality, proper preparation, and presentation of all menu items. Manage food inventory, place orders, monitor stock rotation, and control food costs.

Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including proper food temperatures and handling. Assist with food preparation and other kitchen duties as needed to maintain smooth operations. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and ensure daily cleaning routines are completed. Monitor food waste, maintain proper portion control, and document waste to support cost management.

Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including the industrial dishwasher. Communicate effectively with the Restaurant Manager and other departments to ensure consistent service and smooth operations.

Qualifications

3-5 years of management or leadership experience in restaurant operations. Customer service experience (3+ years preferred). Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.

Ability to work a flexible schedule.
