£13.53 per hour + Excellent Benefits 37.5 hours per week Closing date: 14th October 2026 Click here to view the Job Profile We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team in the Stratton St Margaret area of Swindon . Working across supported living and outreach services , you will provide person-centred support, promoting independence, choice, dignity, and wellbeing while enabling people to live fulfilling lives in their own homes and communities.
Key Responsibilities
Support people with daily living tasks, including cooking, cleaning, shopping, budgeting, and attending appointments. Provide personal care where required and support individuals to maintain their health and wellbeing. Administer medication in line with training and organisational policies. Encourage independence, choice, and community participation.
Follow support plans, risk assessments, and positive behaviour support strategies. Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation. Identify and report safeguarding concerns promptly. Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and professionals to achieve positive outcomes. Essential Requirements Caring, compassionate, and reliable approach.
Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Basic IT skills and ability to maintain accurate records. Commitment to promoting equality, inclusion, and person-centred support. Desirable Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, or physical disabilities.
Health and Social Care qualification (Level 2 or above). Full UK driving licence.
