About the Job

� Typical day is morning report, assigned new admissions, some discharges, medication management, crisis management, rounding on patients. � Credentialing includes the doctor needing to have physical done there on site, including tox screen AND some online training. � Temporary Privileges can take about two weeks after all paperwork, then the process for full privileges continues.

� 60 Psych beds � Will work across 2 Units, 23 beds and 24 beds (11B and 12B) This could change but won�t affect census. � Goal of 12 days, 14 days is average. � Adults: 18-55 age � Census is 8-9 typically can be as high as12 per day per doctor AM Report, Rounding on patients. � Twice a week 1 hour team meeting required.

� Monday, Wednesday Community meeting with patients not required but encouraged, treatment plans. � No H&P � Staffing mix is mds, psychologist, social workers, activity therapists and many nurses. � EMR is Quadra Med - training is required for a morning PRIOR TO STARTING. � Need: � BC and BE in Psych (five years out of residency only) accepted � Schedule: 9 to 5 Monday to Friday *No weekend call, no night call�
