Nova. Taste is looking for an experienced Director Commercial Excellence

• Global to drive commercial performance, optimize go-to-market strategies, and support sustainable growth across our key markets. Reporting to the Vice President Sales
• Europe, this role will lead the development of best-in-class commercial processes, tools, and performance frameworks while partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to accelerate business success.

Your Responsibilities

Drive commercial excellence initiatives to improve sales effectiveness, profitability, and growth Develop data-driven go-to-market strategies, customer segmentation, and commercial plans Build and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics to support informed decision-making Lead pricing, margin optimization, forecasting, and commercial analytics together with Sales and Finance Optimize sales processes, tools, CRM adoption, and data quality to enable scalable growth Support sales teams through onboarding, training, best-practice sharing, and sales enablement tools Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, R&D, and Finance to drive business performance Identify growth opportunities and translate insights into actionable initiatives Champion change and foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and commercial excellence Professional Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field 5+ years of experience in Commercial Excellence, Sales Operations, Business Development, or a similar commercial role, ideally within the food ingredients industry Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a data-driven mindset Experience with CRM systems, sales performance management, and process optimization Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Fluent in English and German Willingness to travel internationally (up to 50%) Personal Attributes Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on execution and delivering measurable impact Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into practical business actions Passion for building scalable processes, structures, and commercial capabilities Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to align and influence cross-functional teams Confident in navigating change, challenging existing ways of working, and driving continuous improvement Data-driven and commercially minded, combining analytical rigor with pragmatic decision-making High level of ownership, initiative, and accountability Collaborative team player with a customer-centric and growth-oriented mindset Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a dynamic international environment What Nova.
