Kitchen Supervisor The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared and presented according to established quality standards. The role involves supervising kitchen team members, coordinating food preparation, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of kitchen team members. Ensure food is prepared and presented according to established recipes and quality standards. Monitor kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and timely food service. Ensure proper food handling, storage, hygiene, and sanitation practices. Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to the relevant department.

Minimize food wastage and ensure proper portion control. Prepare and monitor staff schedules and assign daily duties. Train, guide, and support kitchen team members. Ensure kitchen equipment and work areas are properly maintained. Address operational issues and report concerns to the Food & Beverage Manager. Ensure team members comply with company policies and established procedures.

Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment. Previous supervisory experience is an asset. Good knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage a fast-paced kitchen environment.
