Coach for Track and Field Throwing Team.

Responsibilities

● Planning, Organizing and Conducting daily practices ● Assist in management of uniform and equipment distribution. ● Be experienced and proficient in teaching and developing skills and fundamentals. ● Develop practice and strategies in accordance with the Head Varsity Coach plan. ● Maintain adequate communication with athletes and parent(s).

● Keep the Athletic Director and Varsity Head Coach informed of scheduling changes, athlete and/or parental issues. ● Provide support to the Head Varsity Coach as needed.

Qualifications

Applicant Requirements: ● Coaching experience preferred, but not required. ● Applicants must have basic knowledge of all Track and Field events. ● Applicants must have experience at the high school varsity, club, and/or college level. ● Familiarity with the Catholic High School League and knowledge of the MHSAA organizations preferred.

Willingness to meet all League and state coaching requirements. ● Strong interpersonal skills. ● Ability to interact effectively with coaches, administrators, student athletes and parents. ● Support the growth of the student athletes in virtue, discipleship and living the Catholic faith. ● Must take Protecting God's Children workshop, digital fingerprints and have a background check.
