Sr.QA Engineer (CAD)

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with strong fundamentals in software testing and hands-on experience in desktop-based applications, specifically within the CAD domain. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring product quality through rigorous testing, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and proactive problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies for desktop applications Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing Validate complex workflows related to CAD/BIM models and geometry data Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery Actively operate within a Scrum team, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools Participate in release validation, UAT support, and go-live testing Analyse system performance and scalability for medium to large datasets Contribute to test automation initiatives (good to have) Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in software testing / QA (BE/BTech in Mechanical or Civil) Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals (SDLC, STLC, test design techniques, Black Box Testing, White Box Testing) Hands-on experience in testing desktop applications Nice to have experience in CAD domain (e.
