Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Associate Location: Lima, OH, 45804 Job Description We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team in Lima, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations and forklift operation, ensuring efficient and safe handling of materials within our facility.

Responsibilities

Conducts daily safety check of forklift trucks. Operate forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently. Takes necessary steps to prevent theft in the warehouse. Secures all doors and docks at the close of business. Questions any unauthorized personnel in the building. Prepare orders for shipment and ensure proper packaging.

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Basic knowledge of shipping and warehouse procedures. At least two years’ experience in the warehousing industry. At least 2 years of forklift experience required. WMS experience preferred. Must be able to read, understand, and follow all procedures relating to shipping and receiving forms.

Must possess good communication skills. Must be team oriented. Must have a good knowledge of arithmetic functions: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Must be flexible and able to adapt to all challenges that arise within the operation.
