General Special Education Paraprofessional

The General Special Education Paraprofessional position is an at-will 32 hour per week position located at Grangeville Elementary Middle School, Grangeville, ID 83530 Position requires applicant to have at least 2 years of experience in a related field of handling children with and/or without special needs in a professional school setting.

Position requires applicant to have 32 college credits in an educational field to be a Highly Qualified Paraprofessional, OR the ability to become a Highly Qualified Paraprofessional upon date of hire or soon afterward by taking & passing the Paraprofessional Praxis exam. Provide unofficial college/university transcripts as proof of Highly Qualified credits.

Must be submitted to the District Office upon date of hire. OR Provide proof (copy) of Paraprofessional Praxis exam to the District Office up to date of hire. Must meet job requirements of Grangeville School District #246. Background record check must be completed upon date of hire. Salary is based upon the 2026-27 non-certified salary schedule.
