EMT Instructor Aide (Part-Time)

BERGEN COUNTY TECHNICAL SCHOOLS POSITION OPENING FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2026-2027 EMT INSTRUCTOR AIDE

• Part-Time (12 Months � Non-certificated) Bergen County EMS Training Center QUALIFICATIONS : Must possess current, valid NJ EMT-Basic certification and other current, valid licenses, certifications and/or accredited program completions necessary to provide effective, creditable instruction in the specific areas assigned by the Director of EMS. Knowledgeable in course content, as evidenced by education and/or experience, able to assist in the direction and evaluation of student learning and practical application of skill stations, and knowledgeable about educational theory and techniques. Be a riding member of a New Jersey pre-hospital care agency for three (3) consecutive years prior to applying for this position. Become certified as a NJ EMT Instructor within two (2) years of original appointment by the Board of Education. Excellent communication and organization skills. Available to work a flexible schedule to accommodate day, evening and/or weekend classes. Such other qualifications as may be acceptable to the Board and allowed by law. New Jersey residency required within one (1) year from date of hire.
