As Senior Drilling Engineer, you are responsible for the supervision and direction of operations in accordance with the drilling program including overseeing that all work is carried out in a cost effective, efficient and safely manner. To succeed in this role, you should have minimum 10 years experience in project drilling.

The role responsibilities include:

1. Responsible for the supervision and direction of operations in accordance with the drilling program including overseeing that all work is carried out in a cost effective, efficient and safely manner.
2. Responsible also for logistical support to ensure a continuous uninterrupted drilling program
3. Have experience in geothermal well construction a Tool Pusher and/or Drilling Engineer and as a Drilling Supervisor on either standard size to large diameter bore well on high temperature (>300C) with corrosive and reactive clays environment.
4. Candidate must show evidence of well control competence (certification desired) and experience with reporting using RimBase or equivalent.
5. Contributes to a climate and culture where HSE issues are addressed effectively and speedily, as part of everyone’s normal function What you’ll have 1.

Education

Minimum Bachelor of Engineering 2. Total accumulative professional experiences relevant to drilling project: minimum 10 years and 4 years in geothermal drilling. 3. Total Cumulative Professional Experiences as Drilling Engineer and/or Drilling Superintendent and/or Drilling Manager in Geothermal Industry : minimum 1 year 4. Is being active working in a geothermal project for the past 12 months 5. Number of Geothermal Drilling Training/Course attended: minimum 3 trainings/courses 6. Number of Different Geothermal Fields Involvement: minimum 4 geothermal fields 7. Must have valid International Accredited Well Control Certificate 8. Number of International Conference Publications Relevant to Geothermal Drilling as main author: minimum 2 publications 9. Number of International Conference Publications Relevant to Geothermal Drilling as co-author: minimum 3 publications 10. Number of Stuck-Pipe Prevention Training attended: minimum 1 course 11. Having basic safety knowledge, able to implement safety process and mitigate risk effectively in order ensure safety working properly. Actively ensure that all drilling operators under his/her control are conducted safely, and to high quality standards.
