Responsibilities

Conduct safe and efficient delivery of Reddy Ice products to various customer locations in the Atlanta area using a heavy or tractor-trailer truck. Skillfully load and unload cargo with the aid of a power jack, ensuring the integrity and quality of the goods remain intact. Carry out thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections to uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Accurately complete delivery paperwork, secure necessary signatures, and uphold the highest level of professionalism during customer interactions. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to provide timely updates on delivery status and coordinate schedules efficiently. Adherence to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment for everyone involved.

Requirements

Valid CDL A license. Demonstrated experience in delivery driving, particularly with touch freight. Proficiency in operating a power jack for the loading and unloading of goods. A clean driving record and an unwavering commitment to safety. Exceptional time management skills to ensure punctual delivery schedules. A strong orientation towards customer service, with the ability to lift and move heavy items and navigate various weather conditions.

Compensation

& Benefits: A competitive weekly salary ranging from $1,100 to $1,500, reflecting experience and performance.
