Responsibilities

Provide therapeutic massage treatments tailored to patients’ needs. Assess clients’ soft tissue condition, joint quality, and muscle health to create individualized treatment plans. Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and relaxation techniques. Educate patients on self-care techniques, stretches, and ways to manage pain or tension between sessions.

Maintain accurate and timely notes/documentation of all treatments. Ensure a clean, safe, and professional work environment by adhering to office protocols and maintaining equipment. Build rapport with patients to foster trust, loyalty, and satisfaction.

Qualifications

Valid and current Arizona state massage therapy license. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a massage therapist. Proficiency in therapeutic and medical massage techniques. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the musculoskeletal system. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced study into non-traditional massage techniques: ashiatsu, Thai mat, lymphatic drainage, etc.

Compensation

35% of Time-of-Service Fee Collection, Insurance Co-Payment, Insurance Payment Collection Salary $28 - $40 per hour
