Role Summary
- Responsible for providing the technical and leadership oversight to assure their team executes on time and to target.
- Managing the team and all stakeholders with transparency as to the capacity and capability of the organization.
- Growth of the organization to align with future roadmap requests is proposed based on internal NXP and external industry best practices.
- Act as the executive regional interface across the Greater China foundry ecosystem, shaping partnerships and driving priority alignment.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead an experienced team of technologists developing advanced 180nm~40nm HV and BCD process technology for use in NXP NPI’s across all business lines.
- Lead the development and optimization of high-voltage (HV) and BCD device architectures. This role requires a deep understanding of device physics and a data-driven approach to ensure industry-leading performance and reliability for power management solutions.
- Must work closely with foundry partners to develop a relationship to drive NXP priorities with the utmost urgency, attention to details, and the appropriate amount of committed resource levels. Management responsibilities include performance management, retention/hiring, resource allocation, and mentoring.
- Act as communication liaison for project updates to key stakeholders as well as company information to team members.
- Participate in and lead various efforts (Lessons learned, CMMI, etc) to maximize FEI operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Align with BL partners to identify optimal technology solutions for new products, while supporting/promoting the ‘grid’ approach to maximize return on R&D investment.
- Drive technology roadmap decisions through NTT teams, and participate in benchmarking activities. Job Requirement:
- 10+ technical experience and expertise in Foundry Technology and Development.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in leading a group of Engineers.
- Good business acumen and Foundry technical know-how
- This position requires good communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to influence through strong technical competence, and good presentation skills.
- Must be able to effectively interface with various NXP teams as well as foundry partners on multiple continents to drive projects for on-time execution. More information about NXP in Greater China... #LI-6a60
