Middle School Boys Basketball Coach

Davidson Charter Academy is seeking a part-time contracted coach for its middle school boys basketball team. The coach will plan and lead practices, prepare the team for games, teach basketball fundamentals and team strategies, and promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive behavior.

Responsibilities include

supervising student-athletes during practices and games, communicating schedules and expectations to players and families, following school and athletic policies, and coordinating with school staff regarding team needs and student safety. Previous coaching or playing experience is preferred. Candidates should have strong communication and leadership skills and enjoy working with middle school students.

The position is seasonal, with a start date based on the team schedule.

Compensation

is $1,000 for the season.
