About the Role

Chapman Chevrolet is seeking an organized and dependable Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support daily operations in our parts department. This role focuses on managing the flow of parts, accurately labeling special-order items, and maintaining an organized workspace to ensure parts are easy to identify and locate. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to prioritize tasks, and committed to keeping department operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of incoming and outgoing parts to support daily department operations
• Receive, sort, and organize parts as they arrive
• Label and organize special-order parts for accurate identification
• Maintain an orderly parts storage and receiving area
• Keep parts organized to support efficient retrieval and distribution
• Assist with day-to-day shipping and receiving activities
• Communicate with team members to help ensure parts are handled and organized efficiently
• Various other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage the flow of parts and keep items organized efficiently
• Ability to accurately label and organize special-order parts
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or automotive parts experience is a plus
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check + drug screen
