Baseball Assistant Coach

Position Summary

Maranatha Christian Academy is seeking an Assistant Baseball Coach for the spring 2027 season who is passionate about developing student-athletes on and off the field. The assistant coach will support the head coach’s vision and help foster a Christ-centered team culture that emphasizes character, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Responsibilities

Assist with practices, games, player development, and team activities. Support the head coach’s coaching philosophy, program goals, and expectations. Model Christian values and promote character, accountability, and sportsmanship. Maintain positive communication with players, families, and coaching staff. Follow all school, athletic department, conference, and MSHSL policies and procedures.

Work collaboratively with the coaching staff and athletic department to support the mission of MCA Athletics.

Qualifications

Knowledge of baseball fundamentals, rules, and strategies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to MCA’s Christian mission and the development of student-athletes. Previous baseball coaching experience preferred. This is a seasonal, temporary position with no benefits offered.
