We are currently seeking a Crane/Material Handler/ Magnet and/or Grapple Operator join our growing team.

Intonu recycles a variety of different materials, including ferrous metals, nonferrous metals, and electronics to name a few. Our collection and processing facility is located on the west side of Atlanta, GA. We are currently looking for amazing talent to help us provide recycling solutions to our customers throughout the Southeast.

Essential Functions

• Receive instructions from supervisor on which materials to move and where to move them.
• Be able to accomplish directives in the amount of time given by supervisor.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Operate excavator to handle scrap metal.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Align machine with reference stakes and guidelines, ground, or positioning equipment following hand or audio signals from other workers.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• 1 year experience Work Environment This job operates outside, subject to all environmental conditions. Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures. Physical Demands Reaching in any direction, Standing for sustained periods, Pushing with arms to push upward, downward, outward, Pulling with arms to pull and exert force to draw, haul, or tug objects in a sustained motion, Lifting using arms and back muscles 30-50 lbs, Grasping, Repetitive motions of the arms all day, Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Visual Acuity to operate machines, Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work may vary and can include nights and weekends. This job requires 40+ hours per week, may have additional overtime as necessary. Additional Eligibility Qualifications Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen upon hire Must be able to participate in the E-Verification process Must pass a post hire operator demonstration on the equipment hired for Work Authorization Must be an authorized to work in the United States.
