Head Start Preschool Part Day Classroom Assistant

POSITION TITLE: PART DAY CLASSROOM ASSISTANT LOCATION: Head Start Classroom at Lincoln POSTING DATE: September 30, 2026 CLOSING DATE: For best consideration, please apply by October 7, 2026 However, position will be open until filled. HOURS: 4.5 hours per day, 18 hours per week DAYS: . Monday through Friday. Occasional Fridays.

Nine month employment, August to June SALARY SCHEDULE: Rate of pay $13.14 per hour START DATE: Position start date ASAP JOB SUMMARY: The Classroom Assistant primary assignment is to assist with setting up centers and daily activities; works with children individually and group settings; monitors bathroom, meal, outdoor/gross motor times, and transitions between periods; help provide a safe, clean and orderly environment.
