IT Analyst III - Cloud Automation and Platform Engineer

Primary Duties Enterprise Cloud Architecture : Architect, maintain, and engineer robust public and private cloud solutions at the enterprise level. Platform Engineering Agency Collaboration : Partner with internal development teams to assist, build, and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based engineering solutions.

Security tooling : Maintain and configure enterprise systems that protect the State from infrastructure and code related security threats. Toolchain Administration : Manage, optimize, and support our core suite of internal development tools, specifically Github , GitLab , Jenkins , and Sonar. Qube . Architectural Consultation : Act as a technical liaison by consulting with DevOps teams and architects on the solutions they are implementing in public cloud accounts.

Infrastructure Management : Provision, configure, and maintain infrastructure in cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible. Automation Scripting : Develop and maintain automation scripts to eliminate manual toil, streamline infrastructure provisioning, and improve system reliability.

Governance Standardization : Help the team lead efforts to standardize DevOps practices and workflows across the Department of Technology Services (DTS) to reduce technical debt
