As a 3.5t Delivery Driver based in Rochdale , you’ll be responsible for: Driving a 3.5t van carrying out multi -drop deliveries to our customers within a 50 mile radius of the branch (This will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks, and toilets) Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring you are a positive ambassador of the brand Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment, and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects Loading and unloading deliveries where required When you are not out on deliveries you will be assisting in the warehouse with duties including unloading incoming stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks, and general tidying This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm and 1 in 3 Saturday's 08.00am - 12.00pm. And here’s what we’d like you to have: Full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential Previous 3.5t multidrop driving is advantageous To be familiar with using a handheld PDA Prior warehouse experience is preferred To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
