Boat Mechanic Wanted – Ilulissat, Greenland Exciting Opportunity in Greenland We are currently looking for an experienced and independent Boat Mechanic to join our team in Ilulissat, Greenland. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who is seeking unique career experience in one of the world's most spectacular locations.
The position can be offered as either a project-based assignment or a permanent full-time role, depending on your availability and preferences.
Job Responsibilities
As a Boat Mechanic, you will be responsible for: Service, maintenance, and repair of marine engines. Troubleshooting and repairing both inboard and outboard engines. Visiting various boats and customers on-site to perform repairs and maintenance. Planning and managing your own daily schedule and work assignments. Ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Are qualified Boat Mechanics, Marine Mechanics, or have a relevant technical background such as a Welder/Fabricator with marine engine experience. Have solid experience with servicing and repairing marine engines. Can work independently and take responsibility for planning their own workday. Speak English or one of the Nordic languages (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Icelandic, or Faroese).
