Job description
Senior Credit Underwriter responsible for evaluating consumer loan applications and making timely, well-documented credit decisions within established policies and lending authority. Supports the Portfolio Manager in daily underwriting operations, workflow monitoring, and achieving credit quality, portfolio performance, and profitability goals.
Serves as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and training to underwriters while fostering strong relationships with internal business partners. Requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, knowledge of lending regulations, and the ability to clearly communicate underwriting decisions and program expectations.
