DESCRIPTION OF POSITION A member of the Health Care Team who provides patient services by participating in the delivery of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular radiologic procedures in the Catheterization Lab.# Other duties may include providing care in Cardiology Diagnostic areas as assigned after completing appropriate demonstration and documentation of competency (i.

e. assisting with stress testing, performing 12 lead EKG).# This position requires on call rotation with 45 minute response time.# QUALIFICATIONS # Professional/Educational Graduate of Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent. A.R.R.T. registered with I.E.M.A licensure (or eligible) preferred. Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)# Certification in Interventional Radiology with A.

R.R.T. or RCIS preferred. DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required. ACLS certification within 6 months of hire date. # # Personal Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct. Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others. Possesses a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty.

Ability to follow directions accurately.
