Sales Floor - Part Time

Job Title: Sales Floor Employee Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Manager, Floor Manager Status: Non-Exempt Summary The sales floor employee supports the smooth operation of the sales floor by being visible to customers and providing positive and friendly customer service. The sales floor employee helps maintain merchandise in the different departments by assisting with the receiving and stocking process and operates a cash register when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Greet all customers with a smile and friendly attitude Stock shelves, counters and/or tables as directed Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise to promote sales Stamp, mark, or tag merchandise with assigned prices Maintain knowledge of weekly ad Obtain merchandise requested by customers Ability to answer customer questions regarding location, price, and use of merchandise Clean shelves, counters, tables, aisles, fixtures, displays, etc.
