Job Description We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Medical Assisting Program . This is a part- time , professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education .

The primary responsibility will be to teach Medical Assisting courses . The typical teaching load is two courses each term, with one or two preparations. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation .

Requirements

Completion of a Medical Assisting program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or a Diploma; an associate degree is preferred Certifications: CCMA and/or CMA and/or RMA At least three years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a patient-facing clinical setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized, motivated and results-driven Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
