Service Receptionist

At Premier Volvo, we pride ourselves on providing an outstanding service experience to every customer who walks through our doors or calls our department. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable Service Receptionist** to be the welcoming face and voice of our service department!

Position Summary**

As a Service Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for our customers. You will welcome guests upon arrival, direct them to the appropriate service area or waiting lounge, answer incoming phone calls, and assist clients in scheduling their vehicle service appointments.

Schedule:** Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Key Responsibilities**

Guest Greeting & Direction:**

Warmly welcome customers as they arrive in the service department.

Direct guests to their designated Service Advisor.

Guide customers to our customer lounge/waiting amenities while their vehicle is being serviced.

Phone & Appointment Scheduling:**

Promptly answer incoming telephone calls in a polite, professional manner.

Assist customers with scheduling, rescheduling, or confirming service appointments.

Transfer calls to Service Advisors, Managers, or the Parts Department as appropriate.

• Inform customers when they are due for routine services.

Customer Service & Support:**

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area and customer lounge.

Provide basic updates or information regarding department hours and services.

Handle customer inquiries with enthusiasm and exceptional care.

Qualifications & Skills**

Experience:** Previous receptionist, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred (automotive experience is a plus, but not required).

Communication:** Excellent verbal communication and professional phone etiquette.

Computer Skills:** Basic computer literacy and comfort learning scheduling/dealership management software.

Interpersonal Skills:** Warm, approachable personality with a focus on strong customer hospitality.

Organization:** Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
