POSITION SUMMARY

Focus Interpreting is actively looking for a skilled Turkish Interpreter to join our team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality interpreting services that facilitate smooth communication between English-speaking individuals and Turkish-speaking clients across various settings, including healthcare, legal, and community services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Interpret spoken communications in real-time to ensure clarity and comprehension between English and Turkish speakers. Utilize effective interpretation techniques to deliver professional services in diverse environments, including face-to-face, telephonic, and video interpretations. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards as required in interpreting practice.

Prepare for assignments by researching relevant terminology and cultural nuances that impact interpretation. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your language skills and knowledge of specific industries.

REQUIREMENTS

Fluency in both English and Turkish, with strong oral and written communication skills in both languages. Strong understanding of cultural differences to effectively bridge communication gaps. Attention to detail and the ability to work in high-pressure situations while ensuring accuracy and clarity. Prior experience in interpretation, particularly in medical or legal settings, is preferred.
