About the job
The Google.org Tech for Social Impact (TSI) team accelerates social impact through technology by providing data infrastructure and tools to nonprofits and civic entities. We unify Google.org’s global giving data into a single source of truth, building standardized models and implementing robust metrics to empower leadership to track and maximize our philanthropic impact.
In this role, you will deliver end-to-end business intelligence projects aligned with Google.org’s Research and Evaluation Strategy. Using your expertise in SQL, data modeling, and BI tools, you will design scalable data structures and maintain ETL pipelines to unify funding records with research findings. You will manage ambiguous problems, such as operationalizing counterfactual models, and enhance our BI infrastructure. Ultimately, you will translate complex impact metrics into clear, actionable dashboards that enable teams and leadership to measure program performance.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

- Operationalize pillar metric calculations across Google.org pillar areas including Knowledge, Skills and Learning (KSL), Scientific Progress (SP), Stronger Communities (SC), and Global Programs (GP).
