Mechanical Engineer (Reverse Engineering / Scan-to-CAD) - Remote (LATAM)

We are hiring Mechanical Engineers in LATAM to support U.S.-based engineering projects in a remote, full-time, long-term contractor capacity. This role is ideal for engineers with strong experience in reverse engineering and scan-to-CAD workflows , working from 3D scan data to replicate, analyze, and redesign mechanical parts and components.

Most of the work is developed in Solid. Works , and the projects typically support industrial and manufacturing applications across different sectors. What You’ll Do Develop mechanical models and engineering deliverables based on 3D scan data Perform scan-to-CAD and reverse engineering work for existing parts and systems Support dimensional interpretation and validation tasks Collaborate remotely with the engineering team on U.

S.-based projects Contribute to mechanical design and engineering tasks as needed Requirements Mechanical Engineering background (degree or equivalent experience) Strong experience in reverse engineering / scan-to-CAD workflows Experience working with 3D scan data Advanced proficiency in Solid. Works (daily use) Experience in industrial and manufacturing environments Ability to interpret GD&T and dimensional requirements Previous experience supporting U.
