Job Summary

Cymbio (Acquired by PayPal) is a leading orchestration platform that provides a seamless, one-to-many connection for merchants to be discoverable and purchasable across agentic commerce surfaces like Co-Pilot and Perplexity, as well as marketplaces and dropship retailers, including Nordstrom, Macy’s, and Tik. Global brands like Balmain, New Balance, and Fabletics rely on Cymbio to automate and syndicate their product, inventory, and pricing feeds, while effortlessly orchestrating orders and returns across hundreds of surfaces globally. We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our AWS-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable delivery for our SaaS platform while driving observability and production excellence across engineering.

Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles. Advises immediate management on project-level issues Guides junior engineers Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications : Main Responsibilities ● Own the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle from feature branch to production rollout, including build, test, security, and deployment gates. ● Keep our SLA and SLOs by implementing cloud architecture best practices and continuously improving our monitoring and alerting capabilities.

● Participate in feature DRs and provide the infrastructure POV. ● Building Development Platform to support dev lifecycle ● Partner on defining safe automation boundaries for AI-driven infra tooling (read vs. mutate access, approval gates, audit trail) as agent-assisted ops scales across the team.

Requirements

● 6+ years of experience in DevOps/Production team in SAAS global companies. ● Strong background in building CI/CD with Terraform/Pulumi. ● Deep expertise in AWS native tooling & services. ● Experience with observability tools, APM tools, and cloud monitoring tools. ● Experience using AI coding/ops agents (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, etc.)

in a production workflow ● Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Golang, or JS. ● Strong at designing and implementing system architecture. ● Excellent Communication & Troubleshooting skills, A team player with a can-do attitude. ● Advantage
