Internal Communication Officer

We are currently looking for an Internal Communication Officer to join our Corporate Communications team in Athens, Greece . By joining this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of internal communication initiatives that keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with the company's strategy, values, and culture.

You will play a key role in delivering impactful communication campaigns, managing internal communication channels, and supporting employee engagement initiatives across the organization.

Your role

Support the planning and execution of internal communication strategies and annual communication plans Develop engaging content for internal communication channels, including intranet, newsletters, announcements, and employee communications in both Greek and English Manage and continuously enhance the company's intranet, ensuring content remains relevant, engaging, and up to date Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to promote employee engagement initiatives and internal campaigns Support communication activities related to organizational initiatives, projects, and corporate programs Coordinate and support internal events and employee-focused activities Ensure consistency of messaging and alignment between internal and external communications Work closely with external agencies and communication partners to support project delivery Assist in communication reporting, budget tracking, contract management, and administrative processes What you bring to the role: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field 5-8 years of experience in Internal Communications, Corporate Communications, or a similar role Excellent content creation and copywriting skills in both Greek and English Experience managing intranet platforms and digital communication tools Strong stakeholder management and project coordination skills Ability to communicate effectively across different audiences and organizational levels Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms Share the same Value Based Behaviors: People & Personal Growth Results Orientation & Safety Excellence Collaboration & Trust Empathy & Effective Communication Flexibility & Adaptability Your Benefits: Competitive remuneration package Ticket Restaurant Card Group Health Insurance Plan Preferential household electricity plan Pension Plan At METLEN , we combine industrial expertise with a global outlook to help shape a more sustainable future.
