SUMMARY The Procurement Coordinator partners closely with Procurement to execute purchasing needs while maintaining strong visibility into departmental budgets and ensuring compliance with internal policies, MAS requirements, and audit controls.
Serves as the primary point of contact for all procurement-related activities within an assigned department. Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of collaborating cross-functionally to support efficient and compliant procurement operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Procurement Coordination Serve as the central intake point for departmental purchasing requests Work with stakeholders to understand required goods/services, timing, and priorities Partner with Procurement to ensure sourcing and purchasing align with established processes Cost Center & Budget Support Act as the Procurement Coordinator for the assigned department Maintain working knowledge of: Budget structure and approved spending by G/L Account Current commitments and anticipated purchasing needs Support alignment between purchasing activity and approved budgets SAP Requisitioning Create and manage purchase requisitions in SAP Ensure accurate cost center and G/L coding, proper documentation, and MAS adherence Receipt & Acceptance Acknowledge receipt and acceptance of goods and services Confirm deliveries align with purchase order requirements Complete receiving confirmations in SAP to support timely invoice processing Coordinate resolution of delivery or receiving discrepancies Policy & Compliance Ensure all purchasing and receiving activities comply with procurement policies, MAS requirements, and audit standards Escalate exceptions or questions to Procurement as needed P-Card Management Utilize a corporate P-Card for purchases not processed through SAP Ensure proper documentation, reconciliation, and compliance with P-Card policies LEADERSHIP & BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES None.

CPC’s Quality Management System, which incorporates cGMP, is designed to deliver this quality objective. Attainment is produced through the requisite participation and commitment of all staff across departments and at all levels within the company. cGMP is the part of Quality Management System ensuring products are consistently produced to accurate quality standards.
Adherence to clearly defined procedures, in compliance with the principles of cGMP, is required when performing operations across Corden Pharma Colorado.

EDUCATION
and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma and 1 year of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Procurement experience or related experience in an administrative support role preferred. Required Qualifications Two years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or finance support Experience working with ERP Systems (SAP preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Experience in a procurement or supply chain organization Familiarity with MAS requirements and procurement compliance standards Experience in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing) Knowledge of document control, audit processes, or financial tracking LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS None.
