Shop Clerk

H 2 O Innovation provides public works management services & operations assistance for water & wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations, and businesses across North America. H 2 O is currently seeking a Shop Clerk to join our team in Laurel, MS. In this position, you will assist with daily office operations, maintain records, answer phone calls, and support employees, supervisors, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities

Answer and direct incoming phone calls. Greet and assist employees, vendors, and visitors. Maintain files, records, and other department documents. Enter and update information in computer systems. Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and general office tasks. Prepare reports, forms, and other administrative documents as needed.

Provide clerical support to shop personnel and supervisors. Perform other related duties as assigned. The Skills We Are Looking For Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to answer phones and interact professionally with the public. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and work independently. Dependable, professional, and team oriented. High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous clerical or administrative experience preferred. The successful candidate will have to pass a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks, as well as drug & alcohol screenings.
