General Laborer/Lot Helper

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious General Laborer / Lot Helper to support daily yard operations. This role involves moving and organizing vehicles, assisting customers, maintaining lot cleanliness, and ensuring accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, team-focused, and able to work safely in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Must be 24 years or older to be able to be added to our vehicle insurance. Must have a valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities

Move, load, and unload vehicles safely using forklifts or other equipment. Assist customers with vehicle access and ensure a professional experience. Process impound paperwork and verify vehicle records. Maintain lot organization and cleanliness. Apply absorbent materials to spills to maintain a safe work environment.

Conduct pre- and post-shift inspections of assigned equipment. Identify and report safety hazards; follow all workplace safety standards. Support administrative tasks, including vehicle registration and releases.

Preferred Qualifications

Must be at least 24 years old. High school diploma or GED required. 1–2 years of related experience preferred. Valid driver’s license required; forklift certification preferred or must be obtainable within 90 days. Basic math skills; ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. frequently. Regular standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and handling materials. Work outdoors in various weather conditions year-round. Competencies: Attention to detail and safety awareness. Dependability and accountability. Effective communication and teamwork.
