Job description

MBD (Model-Based Design) engineer experience involves developing and validating control models using tools like MATLAB/Simulink, with a focus on industries like automotive or electronics.

Responsibilities include

control modeling, simulation, code generation, and testing, often requiring experience with embedded systems, C/C++, and relevant automotive standards like AUTOSAR. Strong communication skills, particularly the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and potentially interact with Japanese clients, are essential, along with a degree in engineering or a related field.

Mandatory Skills Knowledge and experience in using MATLAB and toolboxes Modeling based on software specification (low-level design document) Modeling models based on a style guideline (e.g., MAAB) and modifying models based on a static analysis report Making test scenarios and test cases (test vectors) for unit models and integrated models that meet 100% test coverage Executing test cases, analyzing test results, and modifying the cause of failure if the test case does not pass Knowledge and experience in Embedded C Responsibilities & Skills Ability to interface between onsite (Japanese technical team) and offshore technical teams and guide as necessary Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into the development process Ability to handle project management tasks, including scheduling and reporting Motivation to learn new technologies and drive process improvement Provide technical expertise on Model-Based Design to other team members Toolboxes Used in Projects Simulink, Stateflow, AUTOSAR Blockset, Fixed-Point Designer, Simulink Design Verifier, Simulink Check, Simulink Test, Simulink Coverage, Model Advisor, MATLAB Report Generator, Simulink Report Generator, Embedded Coder, MATLAB Coder, Simulink Coder
