Why Electricians Choose ISC Competitive wages Opportunities for overtime Long-term project opportunity Full benefits package Career advancement opportunities Work on a major advanced manufacturing facility Safety-focused work environment Nationwide project opportunities Training and craft-development opportunities Opportunity to build experience in a growing advanced manufacturing market What You'll Do Qualified candidates should have experience performing industrial electrical construction in some or all of the following areas: Conduit Installation Fabricate and install rigid, aluminum, EMT, PVC, and Plasti-Bond conduit Operate mechanical and hydraulic conduit benders, including 2"-4" applications Fabricate and install conduit supports Read drawings and determine conduit routing Perform high-quality conduit installation in an industrial environment Cable Tray & Power Distribution Install wire and cable using hand and mechanical methods Install cable tray systems and supports Perform MCC and switchgear installation Install transformers, breakers, fuses, buss duct, junction boxes, batteries, and battery chargers Work with industrial power-distribution systems Terminations & Electrical Equipment Terminate motors and transformers Perform cable splicing and stress-cone terminations Install and troubleshoot motor controls Size thermal overloads, breakers, and fuses Perform electrical equipment installation and connections Electrical Testing & Troubleshooting Troubleshoot energized motor-control systems Utilize VOMs, amp meters, insulation testers, and other electrical diagnostic equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical drawings, and equipment documentation Perform work in accordance with NEC requirements and applicable OSHA regulations Skills We're Looking For Candidates with experience in any of the following are strongly encouraged to apply: Advanced Manufacturing Construction Industrial Electrical Construction Pharmaceutical Construction Electrical & Instrumentation Switchgear MCC Installation Motor Controls Power Distribution Medium Voltage Cable Tray Industrial Conduit Rigid Conduit Conduit Bending Electrical Terminations Transformer Installation Motor Terminations Electrical Troubleshooting Electrical Testing Blueprints & Schematics NEC Compliance Journeyman Requirements JM1 & JM2 Journeyman-level candidates must possess one of the following: Qualifying score on the NCCER Electrical Craft Assessment Valid State Electrical License Additional Requirements Minimum 4 years of electrical construction experience OSHA 10 certification required OSHA 30 certification required for Foremen and above Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening Ability to pass applicable background checks About ISC Constructors For more than 35 years, ISC Constructors has provided safe, high-quality electrical, instrumentation, controls, engineering, construction, and maintenance solutions to leading industrial manufacturers throughout the United States.
