Hospitality Coordinator
Job description
Stearns Weaver Miller, a full-service commercial law firm with 5 offices across Florida, is seeking a Full Time Hospitality Coordinator to work in our Ft.Lauderdale Office. Under the supervision of the Events & Hospitality Coordinator, the Hospitality Coordinator will provide day to day hospitality services in our conference rooms and lounges, office service areas, and will also assist in covering the front desk.
Candidate must posse exceptional customer service and communication skills, have a professional appearance, be energetic, motivated and a team player.
Responsibilities
Proactively monitors conference room reservations ensuring conference room set up are done in a timely matter and following office standards and reservation instructions Will work closely with FTL receptionist Daily food set-ups and break-down in employee lounge/kitchens for morning start of day, and lunches Maintain, clean and organize conference rooms, kitchens and lounges (adjust chairs, wipe down tables, stock conference rooms, adjust blinds, load and unload dishwashers, cleaning refrigerators, restocking kitchens, etc.)
Assist Event & Hospitality Coordinator in planning events, coordinate monthly birthday celebrations and other internal events. Maintenance of catering equipment; coffee machines and other appliances; reporting any issues to the Event & Hospitality Coordinator Weekly ordering, stocking and inventory of office groceries and kitchen supplies ; updating inventory spreadsheet weekly and monthly Act as back-up to Receptionist Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 2 years’ experience in related area (coordinating events, hospitality, office administration, etc.)
